Influencer Brett Cooper Joins Fox News As Contributor
Social media personality Brett Cooper is joining Fox News as a contributor, per the network’s latest announcement. Cooper, who hosts “The Brett Cooper Show” podcast, brings a substantial digital following to the network with over 4.5 million followers across social media platforms.
Cooper previously hosted “The Comments Section” for The Daily Wire, Ben Shapiro’s Outlet, from 2022 to 2024, before launching her independent podcast in January 2025. Her YouTube channel currently maintains 1.5 million subscribers, while her Instagram account, which features lifestyle content from her Nashville-area farm, has 1.3 million followers.
The Tennessee native was homeschooled in Chattanooga and became emancipated at 15 following family difficulties after her older brother’s death. Cooper supported herself by working at Trader Joe’s until graduating from UCLA. She married Alex Tombul, who works in advertising, in April 2024, and the couple announced they are expecting their first child in May 2025.
Debut Delayed
Cooper was scheduled to make her first Fox News appearance on “The Will Cain Show” on June 25, but vehicle problems prevented her on-air debut. In a recorded message, Cooper explained she and her husband were stranded “on the side of the road in Texas” while traveling between Austin and Dallas as part of her current tour. She is now expected to appear on the network on June 26.
Cooper’s hiring follows Fox News’ February addition of Lara Trump, daughter-in-law of President Donald Trump, who launched her own show on the network. These moves suggest that Fox News is continuing its efforts to expand its appeal among female viewers and younger demographics.
