‘Mini-Movies’ Creator Maris Jones Signs With CAA To Expand Her Reach

Creative Artists Agency (CAA) continues its expansion in the digital creator space with its latest signing of Maris Jones, the New York City-based creator known for her signature “mini-movies” and retro-fantasy aesthetic across social platforms, per The Hollywood Reporter.

Jones has amassed approximately 2 million followers across TikTok, Instagram, and other platforms. Her camp short films inspired by pop culture with a nostalgic storytelling approach have attracted major brands, establishing her as a creative partner for digital campaigns and live experiences.

The visual artist’s client portfolio includes technology giants (Apple, Google, Meta, Adobe), entertainment companies (Netflix, YouTube, Hulu, NBC), and luxury fashion brands (Valentino, Gucci Beauty). Jones also serves as artistic director and set designer for pop star Chappell Roan, creating notable performances including Roan’s retro Grammy Awards staging.

Representation and Industry Recognition

CAA will represent Jones across digital media, music partnerships, commercial endorsements, brand management, publishing, and speaking engagements. She remains represented by Andrew Leib at Deep Feel Talent Co.

Jones is a 2025 Webby Award nominee and honoree, adding to previous accolades including the Vine of the Year prize at the 2015 Shorty Awards. In 2024, she released her debut book, “Unlock Your Aesthetic: A Visual Guide To Find Your Vibe,” an instructional guide for visual artists.

CAA’s Digital Creator Strategy

This signing aligns with CAA’s expansion in digital creator representation. The agency recently added several high-profile social media personalities to its roster.

The latest is YouTuber Jesser (29 million subscribers), who maintains strong NBA connections and partnerships with Nike, Gatorade, and Adidas. Before that, the agency snagged TikTok creator Drew Afualo (9.5 million followers), known for women-focused content with brand partnerships including Elf Cosmetics. In late 2024, CAA signed Gen Z influencer Quenlin Blackwell (16 million followers across platforms), who has worked with brands like Burberry, Coach, and YSL Beauty.

CAA’s focus for these creators centers on expanding their reach beyond their established platforms and developing new business ventures and IP opportunities.
